Spain Spanish. Carlito is from Málaga, and he speaks clear, standard Spain Spanish that’s easy to follow. The phrases are the ones people actually say in Spain.
Do I need to know any Spanish already?
No. The everyday topics go from A1 (complete beginner) to B1. Your first chat with Carlito helps set your level, and he keeps things simple when you need it.
How much time does it take?
About 20 minutes a day, out loud. Being honest, speaking a language takes time, repetition and actually speaking, so the app is built around a small daily habit rather than big sessions.
What are surprise calls?
You choose when you’re happy to be called, and Carlito sometimes rings for a short, friendly chat in Spanish. You can answer, or tap “Later”.
